Our Story

Yucan Sparkle is a queer women owned business that celebrates creativity and being your authentic self. Growing up Yukkin had felt like an outsider and struggled to fit in the “normal” box. After years of treating perfectionism as the bare minimum to feel worthy, Yukkin struggled to love zirself. So when Yukkin’s health collapsed ze decided to embrace who they are, come out of the closet and pursue art. Furthermore turning their studies from engineering to studio arts and branching out to build and create in a new mediums. The final year of zir degree was when Yucan Sparkle and zir Vtubing adventures began.

Furthermore, recalling drawings from zir childhood, Yukkin started to build the person ze always wanted to see. This is when the YUniverse started to form, building on the lessons and personal transformation in zir life. Yukkin’s growth expanded while studying hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy® to learn the wisdom from past challenges. Ultimately, this lead zir to become a creative transformation specialist and centre zir art around connecting personal identity to environments.

The YUniverse became an exploration reflecting the connections between human experience, personal identity, nature and the world as interwoven and sacred. Often creating art focused on identity that combines humans with elements of nature to create portraits through landscapes, environments, installation and abstracted forms. For streaming we even created a magic system and environment that transforms with the audience. We believe the magic belongs in creating an environment that reflects who you are through your vision of the world and who you may become with your own YUniverse.
